A tad dated, but still pretty good.

Tanya’s Score: Good*

Rated: 14A

Starring: Cliff Booth, Maverick and Krystal Stubbs

Plot: A vampire (Brad Pitt) tells his life story to an interested journalist (Christian Slater).

Tanya’s Verdict: So this movie is a tad dated, especially with the melodramatic musical score – but in my opinion, it still holds up. Kirsten Dunst brings a powerful performance to this one. At 12 years old – it was obvious she was going places.

There’s an interesting story behind the vampiric plot line and it’s one that touches upon the heartbreaking isolation and lack of humanity faced by Brad Pitt’s character Lou.

*Four score descriptions: Sh**; Okay; Good; Great
